   Does anyone know if there is any relationship between Franz Inc.'s
   Allegro CL and the Apple Macintosh Allegro CL other than the names
   (and of course other than their being CL's)?  Just curious...

  The reason for the two products sharing the Allegro name goes back
to the time when both versions were being marketed jointly for the
Macintosh by Franz Inc. and Coral Software Inc.  Apple eventually
bought the ownership to the Mac OS version of Allegro and is now
marketing it.
