I frequently get "MAPOUT ... beyond end of file" errors\n from ^X^S on a section file.
This happens the second time I do a ^X^S on that file.
I suspectthat the first ^X^S isn't updating the section ranges right,
The result, strangely, is a file written under the correct name
but missing a bunch of stuff at the end (whatever was going to
be in the last MAPOUT).
