tag search

The following bug happend to me today:
I was in the directory kansas:<scheme.scm> and visited the tag table
scm.taggen. I then did a tag search for the string bignum-one. After several
files, the search halted with the emacs error message ''DEBUG.SCM Marked
as Never Deleted''. It put the file DEBUG.SCM into a buffer but it DELETED IT
FROM DISK.
This happened on oz via a supdup from Prep via a telnet from Athena.
