The best way to get around reading the
control-C's at the end of the file is to ignore cintrol-C's! The bug is that
teco uses block mode I/O to dump the file, and therefore a character count is
not available. If you have meaningful control-C's in the file, then I don't
know what to say. The control-L is probably relly in the file, so if you
don't want it you should get rid of it with teco.
