The tag "GCMKL" in LISP holds a list of arrays in the system;
problem is that this tag is not accessible without loading
the symbol table, so probably there should be some status call,
or some primitive function, which copies the top level of this
list, deleting the "dead-array" markers. If Howard doesn't want
to do it, then I will for the next lisp.
