In response to GLS's and RWK's responses to my note on this,
as far as the STATUS function is concerned, I think LISP should
provide (STATUS HSNAME) and (STATUS XUNAME) when the time comes.
This will make things more uniform and simpler as that is what
these frobs appear to be called. If this should make any of the
existing STATUS args obsolete, then they can eventually be phased
out. But during the transition period, e.g. (STATUS USERID) and
(STATUS UDIR) and whatever other related STATUS args there are
should continue to be computed as they are now.
