I guess it is obvious that shortly after the new DDT is released, that
LISP will have a (STATUS HSNAME) and (STATUS XUNAME) and that
e.g. JPG;.LISP. (INIT) will become JPG;JPG LISP . ("LISP" instead of
".LISP." I hope - there is a slight problem of interference with some
FOOBAR's LISP expressions file named "FOOBAR LISP", but I think the risk
here is worth the change.) Anyway, after the STATUS frobs are available,
I look forward to using them for MACSYM INIT files.
(STATUS XUNAME) ALREADY EXISTS IN THE GUISE OF (STATUS USERID).
I AM UNCLEAR ON THE EXACT SEMANTICS OF HSNAME, BUT
PERHAPS IT IS THE CORRECT THING TO MAKE (STATUS UDIR) USE IT??
