The null pname doesn't print as ||. This is screwing me to the wall,
since I have a data file which somestimes contains null pnames. Please fix!
Sigh, sigh, sigh. Maybe in NIL the pname printing convention should
be consistent. On the other hand, can we provide some other neat
way to cause GRINDEF and like utilities to be able to return "nothing"?
Maybe some kind of system-supplied CATCH in the top-level loop
could be provided to throw to in order to avoid the print (this facility
to be used only by top-level utilities of that kind, by convention)?
