Why, Oh Why? do (HUNK 1) and (HUNK 1 2) cons up LIST cells?
Many problems would be solved if they actually caused the
consification of HUNK4 cells. Would anyone object to that?
This could be patched into the current LISP, but the relatively
nicer solution (a HUNK2 space) would call for reassembly.
