Apologies if I've sent this request before, but I need it again and
am much disappointed with the alternatives. Can we please get a
(STATUS SITE) or (STATUS MACHINE-NAME) or something that returns MC,
MULTICS, AI, or whatever. I am not satisfied with shaky solutions
like (GETL (CONS () (STATUS FEATURES)) '(MC AI DM ML MULTICS ...)) 
or with (CADR (REVERSE (STATUS FEATURES))) or whatever the place it is
'usually' found is... This seems important enough to have in a named
location. Thanx.

I don't think that these shakey solutions are all that bad especially if
you figure out the site name at startup time when disk io is slowing you
down anyway. The proposed solution, of course, would require that all
of the sites be available, such as: AI,MC,ML,DM,MULTICS,SAIL,CMU...
