Subject: STRING bug
Well, JONL has just made n^n small changes to the source, so it's kinda
hard for me to figure out if he's changed anything relevant.
In case you've forgotten, NIL is a dumped-out system, with the version
of STRING current at the time of dumping. Should a person of moderate
intelligence be handicapped by any changes to the source since that dumpout
time? Original sources sill available. Maybe NILE should be tried out in
an environment with all those "n^n small changes" (whatever that means),
in case any of them serendipitously fixed the problem.
