Subject: Correcting CATCH/THROW in Maclisp
Isn't it about time we prepare to recycle the non-* names? I suggest
that CATCH,THROW exist but be errors in the about-to-be-released Maclisp
version, and that they be identical to *CATCH,*THROW in the next one.
RMS has gone on record as opposed to *ever* flushing these names.
Could you, Rich, take on responsibility for polling the community and
ascertaining that there will be no major "revolutions" if this where
to happen? Minimal test would be mailing ti *ITS.
