I just fixed SUSPEND so as not to call CLOSE on the contents
of V%TYI and V%TYO if they are already closed.  A problme ensues
if for some reason the page with the CLOSE code onit has
already been flushed. (e.g., by interactions with the LISPT PATCH
kludge, which fiddles around with the page containing IFORCE,
which just happens to be the same page as CLOSE).
