Looks like consensus on nomenclature is LIST* and I am happy with that.
As for backquote, there has arisen many non-macro-defunition usages
which we are all aware of now (from the flood of mail), so the only
question is how much to standardize. Who would be unhappy with the
LISPM approach, which uses backquote and comma as macro chars, with
comma looking ahead one char to see if atsign signals a splice.
Probably in NIL and eventually in MACLISP we would be better off
setting both chars as initial macros-chars.
