Subject: Dead STRINGs in NILAIDs
To: BUG-NIL at MIT-MC, BUG-LISP at MIT-MC
I don't know what's causing it, but in NADMP 1049 and NADMP 1050,
98% of all strings are garbage (with the canonical garbage
being 's). At this point I will not plead with you; I have no complaints
with using NADMP 1048 and loading in LISP;STRING >, this works fine.
Yes, this is very weird, that string's get garbaged when STRING 149
is run in current xlisp (version 2097), but not when run in current lisp
(version 2077). I'll be gone to California for a week, and will look
fix it when I get back -- at least you can work in the current lisp
environment.
