this guy should be marked in the TTS.GC bit whenever he
is alive. True, GCMKAR assumes that one wants to descend him,
but if the contents of the TTSAR doesn't get this one bit (TTS.GC)
it will go away. Having some value point ot it will insure that
it gets "marked", but it might be more reasonable to just have
some code set the bit.
