FORMAT for maclisp

When I try (format nil '|foo ~r| 5), I get an error msg different than
the one you mentioned.  There is a new FORMAT, with the changes suggested
by GLS a few weeks ago, on the COMLAP directory, and it merely tells you 
that "R" is not (yet) implemented.
