If you load "VAXMAX;DEFUN&" you will win. This is amoung the code presently
in use by NIL people when using Maclisp, as it became "inconvenient"
to use the "NILCOM" macro support for DEFUN&, LET, DEFMACRO, BACKQ, SETF, 
DEFVST, etc. Since we hope to use the message-passing system you are
working on, we might as well tell you about the goods. However, we don't
claim to support the stuff for any strange maclisp-only purposes you may
have, but of course, if the price is right, maybe.
