If init files are going to be named <hsname>;<xuname> <name> then its
probably a loss to have <name> be something like .LISP. or .EMACS when
LISP or EMACS would be just as good. The "."s probably were to put
the file at the front of the directory; now that FN1 is the XUNAME, the
"."s serve no useful purpose and just make it difficult to have six
character program names.
RMS, is the next E going to continue getting its init files using the old
names or will you change it to the <hsname>;<xuname> EMACS scheme?
