To put it in writing: LISP ARCHIV contains no description of 
(STATUS PUNT), even though such a description is contained 
in LISP NEWS.  Also, the description given contains no mention of 
FUNCALL although that is a handy way out of the dilemma (SSTATUS PUNT T) 
causes.
