    Autoloading LAP barfs with 
    ;((LAPSETUP/| NIL NIL) (NIL . 1)) TOO MANY ARGUMENTS SUPPLIED - APPLY

    Note that LAPSETUP/| is also called with only 1 arg, too ...
    I can win by doing (args 'lapsetup/| '(1 . 2)) but what a crock!
