Final addendum I hope on DEAD-ARRAY PURPG; problem

Indeed, putting a check for #DEAD-ARRAY in that other place I check
to see if the array is defined, fixes the bug.  It all seems to
work fine now compiled -- will give it a full test when not midday!
There must be a minor bug in #DEAD-ARRAY that gives the PURPG; trap.
It would be nicer if it said ;HASHTABLE ARRAY-NOT-INITIALIZED
or somthing equally informative...
