In doing a valret out of LISP to : send a msg. I found that
on the second line of my message, I was unable to use <del> to
erase any chars. I was using readline from within the function,
and expected to be able to continue normally with my message after
a carriage return. I dont know whethr this is a mistaken supposition of my own,
a problem with lisp, ddt or crtsty, or an interaction problem beteen any of the
    three
I'm afraid you'll have to be more specific - like a pointer to the file
containing your function, and a specific sequence of input that loses.
