TOPS-10 and 1984

Loading CGOL.FAS (and others)
gives the following error
?ill data mode for device ttynn
in routine sstty

.RU LISP[nn,nn];foo.ini[12,34]
the file is never found

Trying to use CCLOAD.INI option 1 gives
attempt to write into pur page after asking the location of the
.fasl files

Using option N of ccload gets as far as the line
"Initializing"
then the error
;LSUB undefined function in UUo call
