Loss of Maclisp compiler

If by any chance, the dumped maclisp compiler should be "damaged"
on any of the ITS systems, it is perfectly adequate merely to
FTP the corresponding dump file from another ITS system. Currently,
the two files of interest are:
for COMPLR - COMLAP;CL.DMP >
for XCOMLR - COMLAP;XC.DMP >
Some existing code may need the facilities of the new XLISP/XCOMPLR
in order to be successfully compiled and run. When in doubt, try
the "Xperimental" system. XLISP will probably be turned into LISP
next week.
