You're right, there is already a mechanism to tell GRINDEF that this
function is traced. The only problem is that it is called TRACE and
causes GRINDEF to print out ";Traced", which would look funny if this
facility were used for metering wrappers and such. You're also
right about advising; it's harder than I thought.
