In system 44.3, with microcode 692, on LISP Machine Six:
File name defaulting in the editor is really screwed up. When using Dired,
the file name default in the prompt was "DSK: JNC;" when I did a m-x Dired
out of another m-X Dired which had been to "AI:LMDEMO;". The DSK:, needless
to say, should never get into a default, and the "JNC;" must have come from
a filename I had typed a long time ago which was "XX:<JNC> ...".
A worse problem which probably existed all along but that I only noticed at this
point was that typing m-x Dired MC:LMDEMO; edits the AI:LMDEMO; dir instead.
