There is evidently something wrong with the locking code in QFILE.
After I control-Zed out of an error, a lock was left locked, apparently
from the function FS:CHANNEL-ALLOCATE. This ought never happen if
locking is done the right way, it seems.
What version of the system was this in. I just fixed all such bugs.
