I understand what the microcode bug is. It turns out that ASH of a bignum
by a non-zero multiple of 31. bits has never worked because it calls a
subroutine with the wrong arguments. Unless it's an emergency I won't fix
this until I get back since the fix is complicated and there aren't any
keyboards on the West coast.
