QSEND is broken. When you type ^C as it tells you, it just pheeps at you.
I sure wish people would be more careful when they change basic system
software (this is on CADR1, I have no idea what system because I don't
want to go to the trouble to get out of my SUPDUP -- as I said a few
months ago, it would be a win to put the version number in the WHO line
so it doesn't take you 5 minutes to report a bug).
