    I observe that C-M-U seems to do something interesting in the error
    handler, but this is not in the <HELP> documentation.  Also, the
    documentation doesn't specify how you tell C-M-A and C-M-L which
    argument you want ...
Also, it seems that <return> and <line> are no longer with us, contrary
to the documentation on <help>.  (They used to be the same as C-P and C-N
I believe.)
