Hi.  The rest of us (DLW, JMB, LSP and HWC) who were here in Livermore
during the earthquake are all fine, as is everyone I know.  There has
been some damage to lab buildings, but not any of our buildings and not
to any holding anything dangerous; the lab got closed today for
extensive building inspection, and now that they have determined which
buildings are dangerous, they have reopened everything else.  {ur
apartments are all OK--all that happened to mine is that my slasses
were knocked to the floor.  But I can tell you, it was one hell of a
way to wake up.  Very exciting for a minute there...
