Agreed, that the LISPM should be fixed, not only because
"STRING" was first, but also that the other feature names
are singular (i.e. BIGNUM). But who's going to do it?
Until that day comes, I'll just have the string package
put both "features", and let the loser decide which to
ask for.
There is a typographical error in the Lisp Machine Manual; in the Lisp
Machine, the feature is called STRING just as it is in MACLISP. See
LISPM;QMISC > for the initial value of the feature list.
