Your diagnosis is correct.  There should also be a WITHOUT-INTERRUPTS
enclosing the TV-OPEN-SCREEN, TV-SELECT-SCREEN, and TV-ERASE (in that
order).  I suggest that you fix this yourself by fixing the relevant
functions in the source, writing out the updated source, copying the
functions into a patch file, making sure it has a package:si in its
mode line, writing it out, compiling it, rebooting the machine, loading
the patch qfasl file, and disk-save'ing.
