re: autoload on the lispmachine
my need for autoload is not urgent ... i just thought it would nice to have around
if it wasnt to difficult to implement. Its true one can have all ones files loaded
on a band of the lispmachine but are there enought bands to go around so that i can
have one to myself on each machine that i use? Also we are beginning to share many of
our software packages and in many cases id like to be able to tell someone to load
just one file to use, say, my graphing functions even though the graph package may
require some subroutines in another one of my files.. and i dont want to have to
duplicate those subroutines in each file that uses them. .. any thoughts on alternative
ways to get around these problems? -- keith
