Machine Eight: If you use DEFSELECT on the name of a function that
already exists (but is a FEF not a SELECT-METHOD) you lose bad when
defselect tries to rip apart the FEF (thinking it is a select-method).
It is unclear to me what the right thing is to do in this situation, but
clearly the error you get now is unacceptable (it blows up screwing
around with the insides of the FEF)
