EMACS TAGS and ABBREV files.

I'm not at a machine now, but I would have sworn that the commands to
access word abbrev files are exactly the same in Emacs and Zmacs.
They were at one time, anyway. This is the QWABL format, right?
The tags formats are the same too. Do you actually use :TAGS and
the tags feature itself, or are you only using it to implement sets
of files? I'd like to know because we're thinking of dropping
support for tags themselves since they're so useless in the Lisp
Machine environment. Thanks.
