In system 21.9 VLSI, with microcode 604, on LISP Machine Two: It would be really nice if when in a Variable Set command, C-M-Y would yank the old value of the variable so you could edit it instead of retyping the whole thing (e.g. Lisp Indent Offset Alist !!!). Similarly for related commands.
