I don't think there will be any strong objection if, after some
consideration, you want to remove a function from the condition system,
even though it is "incompatible"; the condition system has not been with us
long enough that "tweaks" are out of line.
Should the condition system symbols be in the LISP package or the
CONDITIONS package? The current draft of the standard doesn't distinguish
their package.
