	2) Use the CLX back-end of CLIM instead of the Genera back-end:

    Can this be used to open a clim window in MacX?  What I'd like to do is
    have several native macintoshes running MacX and displaying clim windows
    for a symbolics 3650.

You are running CLIM on your 3650, with displays open to the Mac, right?
If that is the case, and MacX works properly, it is a reasonably safe
bet that this will work.  I have had success opening CLIM X roots on
various other X displays.
