       has anyone got specific dox on the progress-indicator fns? I'd like to
       take a stab at them shortly...

   If you have Symbolics documentation, the CLIM 2.0 progress note
   functions obey the same semantics.

   They are documented in the CLIM 2.0 User's Guide, coming soon from
   Symbolics to a theatre near you.

   I can extract the documentation if you don't have Symbolics doc.

that'd be great--I of course don't have the 'S' dox, and the ACL dox
don't even come close.
