Changes to CLOS {was: UNDEFMETHOD}

{After suggesting that CLOS include UNDEFMETHOD . . .}

I would appreciate someone filling us newcomers in on the current state of
the CLOS standard.  Particularly, is there still time to suggest changes
that will make it into the final Common Lisp version ?

The 6/88 CLOS spec. refers to "the usual editorial and cleanup processes"
(page 1-1).  What are these usual processes ?
