Is this deliberate flame bait?

The bulk of Lisp issues activity is on comp.lang.lisp, comp.lang.clos,
and the various vendor lists. comp.org.lisp-users is for activities
related to the Association of Lisp Users (ALU). This group had its
annual meeting and many conference sessions at the recent Object World
expo in Boston.

There is not likely to be a great deal of activity on this
comp.org.lisp-users until we get closer to the next ALU sponsered
conference. This does not mean the group is moribound, as we are
actively developing Lisp participication and coverage within the expo
community. We are also investigating the expansion of our current
website at http://www.cs.rochester.edu/users/staff/miller/alu.html
