Does anybody have experience with or (preferably) hard data on the
performance of a VAX 11/780, 2.5MegB, running VMS with and without
Eunice/UNIX? For instance, start with a group of 20 VAX VMS users (about
30-35 processes) ... Then 10 of them switch to Eunice/UNIX on the same VAX
to do the same kind of computing, editing, etc (admittedly shakey, 'cause
they wouldn't switch if they couldn't do different things but oh well).
Will the 10 remaining VMS users be aware of degraded performance? If so,
exactly how?
