We have done quite a lot with both the nu-vista and raster ops boards via
C functions that are called from lisp. We routinely control video disc
players, grab images, and show motion sequences on the screen. Most of
the hard core work is done via the C functions which are generally
modifications of the C access routines supplied by the board
manufacturer.
