pict-scrap problem

   Subject:      pict-scrap problem
I am having a problem with the pict-scrap utility (in the MACL examples
folder).  I am trying to copy a picture generated in MACL into Macdraw,
but the pict scrap does not seem to be getting properly externalized.
Usually, the copied picture does not appear in the Macdraw clipboard.
However, sometimes it does, but I can't figure out a reliable way to
reproduce it.  It's very mysterious.  I noticed that externalize-scrap
does not call ZeroScrap before calling PutScrap, so I changed that but
it didn't seem to make any difference.

Any ideas?
