MCL newsgroup

I, too, would very much like to see a newsgroup rather than a mailing
list.  The volume is just getting overwhelming.  Has anyone volunteered
to be a mail gateway?  Perhaps those of us who want a newsgroup could
just go rogue and start up an alt group in the meantime?  alt.lang.mcl
