Why not make sure that we can access the newsgroup archive?

It seems that one major concern against the newsgroup is losing 
messages while away.  This, however, won't be a problem if APPLE 
Cambridge makes sure that the newsgroup archive be available.  Doing 
that would be useful anyway.  Is that possible?  Or are we not sure 
that cambridge.apple.com is where the archive will be kept?
