Regarding Itasca's OODB -- I just talked to them yesterday and
they indicated that it is not currently available on the Mac and
no project is currently underway to make it available there. They
started one at one point, but it kind of fizzled out for lack of
interest from Apple and no one has wanted it bad enough to contribute
to the cost of porting it. They indicated that there might be
some tricky technical issues involved in the port as well.
