Experience running MCL v 1.3.2 on a IIci and System 7.0?

I am having problems running MCL v 1.3.2 on a IIci and System 7.0.  Virtual
Memory and 32-bit mode addressing are turned off.  I am not running any
strange init's.

The application randomly quits with an error of type 3 or type 25.
While this question has probably been asked and answered before, I didn't
have a IIci so I didn't pay attention.  Shame on me.  Can anyone offer
advice?
